Airlynx Express, has become the 50th member of Coach Marque in the UK.
CoachMarque is the universally recognised kitemark of quality in the UK coach industry, and holds its members to high standards in health and safety, validity of drivers’ licences, compliance with insurance requirements and the presentation of all coaches belonging to the company.
The scheme is run by the Confederation of Passenger Transport.
Keith Trenchard, Managing Director for Airlynx Express, says: “It just shows that we are doing what we need to do, and it proves that it can be done.
“There was criteria that we had to meet, which was checked in an outside audit from the LloydMorgan Group. We came out at 28 out of 28.”
Alf Scrimgour, CoachMarque Administrator, says: “I am very pleased that Airlynx Express has successfully passed the necessary audit and will now be admitted to the scheme. Airlynx will be a valued member of the Marque and we are delighted to have them on board.”
Airlynx Express has been in operation for over 15 years, offering airport transfers, private hire, courier services, minibus and coach hire and day tour excursions around the South of England.
